Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Mahjong IQ handles information when you play the game, view advertising, use privacy controls, or visit this website.

Effective: August 29, 2026Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. Overview

Mahjong IQ (“Mahjong IQ,” “we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a tile-matching game for iPhone and iPad. You do not need to create an account to play. Core game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Important: The app uses third-party services for analytics, remote configuration, advertising, consent management, and—when configured—advertising attribution. Those providers may process device, network, usage, and advertising information under their own privacy policies.

2. Information that may be processed

Game information stored on your device

The app stores information such as completed levels, game-tool credits, ad progression milestones, preferences, and similar gameplay state locally using Apple platform storage. This information generally stays on the device unless a system backup or platform feature handles it separately.

Usage and analytics events

Firebase Analytics may receive events such as app opens, screen views, level starts and completions, level failures, tile interactions, use of Hint/Shuffle/Undo, rewarded revives, ad availability, ad impressions/clicks, consent state, and related technical events. Event parameters can include level number, score, attempt number, tray count, utility type, and ad format.

Device, network, and advertising information

Advertising and analytics providers may automatically process information such as device model, operating-system version, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, language, advertising identifiers where legally permitted, consent choices, ad interactions, diagnostics, and similar identifiers or technical data.

Support information

The support-request builder on this website works locally in your browser and does not submit the form to us. If you later send support information through an available support channel, we may process the information you choose to provide to diagnose and respond to the issue.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to operate and improve gameplay, understand feature performance, diagnose errors, configure game behavior, measure progression, prevent abuse, deliver and measure advertising, provide rewarded-ad benefits, comply with consent and privacy obligations, and support users.

We do not sell your name, email address, or account profile because Mahjong IQ does not require a player account. Third-party advertising providers may process data for advertising purposes as described below and under applicable consent choices.

4. Advertising, consent, and tracking

Mahjong IQ uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your location, the app may ask for consent or present privacy options before certain advertising processing occurs.

On Apple platforms, Mahjong IQ may also request App Tracking Transparency permission. If you deny permission, the app does not receive permission to access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for tracking as defined by Apple. You can change this choice in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

Ad formats can include rewarded ads, interstitial ads, and app-open ads. Rewarded ads are user-initiated and provide an in-game benefit only after the reward condition is completed. Ad availability is not guaranteed.

Google requires publishers using its advertising products to disclose relevant data collection and advertising technologies. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

5. Service providers

Mahjong IQ currently integrates or can be configured to use the following service providers:

  • Google Firebase — Analytics and Remote Config.
  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising, ad measurement, and related services.
  • Google User Messaging Platform — consent and privacy-choice messaging where applicable.
  • Unity Ads mediation components — advertising mediation may involve Unity components through the configured AdMob mediation setup.
  • Meta SDK — advertising measurement/attribution features may be enabled only when valid configuration is supplied.
  • TikTok Business SDK — advertising measurement/attribution features may be enabled only when valid configuration is supplied.

Each third party controls its own processing under its terms and privacy policy. Their practices may differ by region, consent status, device settings, and how the app is configured.

6. Your privacy choices

  • Advertising privacy choices: Where required, use the Privacy Choices option inside Mahjong IQ Settings.
  • Apple tracking permission: Manage tracking access in iOS/iPadOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Notifications: Manage notification permission through system Settings.
  • Local gameplay data: See our Data Deletion guide.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, correction, objection, restriction, or portability. Because the app does not require an account, we may not be able to identify provider-held data without information such as identifiers available through the relevant provider or device.

7. Data retention

Local gameplay data remains on the device until it is changed, reset, removed by the operating system, or the app is deleted. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies and legal obligations. Support information, if you send it through an available support channel, may be retained for as long as needed to resolve the request, maintain security and service records, or meet legal requirements.

8. Children

Mahjong IQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through a support channel, use the Support Center to prepare the relevant details for removal assistance.

9. International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, providers use legal mechanisms intended to protect international data transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when revisions are published.

11. Contact and privacy requests

For help, privacy questions, or privacy-rights requests, contact us at devnavadiya25@gmail.com or visit the official Mahjong IQ Support Center. For deletion of local app data, follow the Data Deletion guide.
